Photos in the reverse order
The weather was a lot better on Sunday than it has been for a long time..so Marcus and I went for a walk. We walked a whole lot further than he wanted to, really. He was pretend angry with me for making him walk so far. But the view was pretty good...we walked all the way to where the Quelle building and the Messe was.
I love sky photos...and this was taken on our walk.
We started this on Sunday morning and finished it in a matter of hours...it was the easiest puzzle we've done so far, thanks to all the different colours. The Sheepworld one is still sitting under my bed, thanks to it being black and white.
The Mandarinen-Schmand-Kuchen we baked on Saturday night...it was good...well, at least I thought so.
Hoppy in his new babysuit. I think the cashier was wondering why we bought this (a pack of 3, actually), since I didn't look pregnant and if we did have a newborn, where was it? Why did we leave it alone? Ok...actually, she probably didn't think anything...but Hoppy has a new outfit now :)
A church in Wurzen. Marcus and I made the same mistake we made the last time, when we went to Pirna...we lazed around in bed until 10am..and ended up getting there at 12noon, when all the shops closed and the town was dead. Ha...so we ended up going to a great Greek restaurant in Leipzig instead...the salad dressing was heavenly!! And to be honest, the waiter wasn't too bad looking either...but don't get me wrong, I am definitely happy with my boy.
The view of one of the streets with a banner announcing the Christmas Market (only open for 2 weeks...super short man)

It's scary how extremely different my weekdays and weekends are. If I were only to talk about weekends, maybe you'd think I have a charmed life...travelling to obscure and not so obscure places...going for walks...lazing around at home...baking...etc. But once the weekend is over, reality sinks in again...and life is nothing but an endless stream of classes and homework. The moment I get back from class, I have to start on my homework...in the afternoons, I watch TV while doing my homework (I still love the silly court shows..and police shows) and in the evenings, I have the computer on so I can chat with Marcus...and you guessed it...am doing my homework as well. I haven't had the time to clean my room. It hasn't been vacuumed in more than a month..and I haven't done my laundry in more than 2 weeks. But don't worry...I have not had to resort to recycling underwear yet. There is dust all over...and stuff lying around. Man...
Actually, I am taking a break from homework tonight...I did some this afternoon, but Mai celebrated her birthday tonight, so I wasn't really in the mood to study/do homework anymore after her party. Her salad was really good! I loved it...Fu Wei's tortellini gratin was good too. Liu Jian baked a cheese cake and I baked a banana and pineapple cake...I wanted to bake something more complicated, like the cakes I baked with Marcus...but I just didn't have the luxury of time. I did my homework right up to the time I baked the cake..and a little after, since Mai was an hour later than expected. Well, I hope I'll be less stressed after I start on...and hopefully finish...my Take-Home-Exam...which is due on Tuesday...then I will work on my Czech presentation...and then the 2 summaries, and Early Modern English presentation...and all this does not take into account normal homework for Swedish or Czech. Hmmm...sigh.
Time to sleep now...and to forget my worries for a while.
