Yay! It's the weekend, finally! So sian of school already, even though I only have 3 days of school every day. WHat's wrong with me? I used to go to school like 6 or even 7 days a week and I never complained...okay, I didn't but never felt like so sian of school before.
Yesterday was a super long day. The first lesson wasn't too bad. My teacher brought his daughter to class. She has hair like his! The lesson was spent using an English computer program...I mean to practice English. THe passages were very interesting, but the grammar parts weren't so fun. We also exhanged lesson plans and I got to see what other people did in their plans. Very interesting. My partner finally came back, but only for this lesson. Good that he came, since he printed the plan out..I don't have a printer at all.
The German classes were quite boring. Was more or less sleeping through them. Then was Synchronic Linguistics. Gave my friend her birthday present. Was glad she liked it! Hard to give presents to people you haven't known forever! But she's so nice I just had to find a good present.
Today was like totally BORING...well, most lessons are...so much homework also...sian man! So happy class finally ended. It seemed to go on forever. Went shopping after class with a friend. BOught bananas...haven't eaten them in ages!! How I missed them. My number one fave fruit...after that come grapefruit, strawberries, pears and royal gala apples. Haha. Would you like my top five list of vegetables too? I'll spare you. Unless you really wanna know.
Yay, got 2 new cds to listen to this week...well, for the next 6 weeks, before I get my other package sent by surface mail. Still waiting for my Pan Wei Bo CD. The Zhang Shan Wei one is not bad. I mean his singing's not perfect, but his songs are very funny and witty. Although I disagree in principle about chauvinism, his song about it was quite funny. The Xie Jie Shao Nian one is less wonderful. I mean there are nice songs in it, but I'm not too fond of having too many instrumental pieces on a cd. I get bored. Of course there are the nice pieces, but there are the thoroughly boring ones too! I like the duet from Xie Zhi and Cyndi and Ren Fu's song, but I thought the R&B song totally reeks...can you spell Cheesy? But the good songs do sorta make the cd worth it lah.
