Yay! There's internet this weekend! So happy...but unfortunately this isn't the weekend in which I have a lot of homework...so ah well. Better to have it then not to have it...but the bathroom light is spoilt...it's practically impossible to bathe when it's so dark. Turning on the fluorescent light outside makes it a bit better, but it's so awful to not be able to see where you're going! I wonder how the light gets fixed. The house mistress is not in, cos it's a weekend...so I dunno when we're gonna get our light back.

Boy am I glad I went out early to collect my parcel from the post office this morning. It's raining now and I bet it's positively freezing outside! I went to the library in the hope of photocopying my notes when the lib was less crowded..but NOOO, the photocopying machines also happened to be not switched on for use! Humph. Looks like I wasted 20 mins walking there for nothing. Then I went to buy groceries cos I only had rice and beans left at home. It was already drizzling when I left the supermarket. Good thing there was no one else at the bus stop, so I could sit there and wait. Groceries are very heavy...I hardly can buy enough for a week and manage to lug it all home. But I have no choice. Not so free to go to the supermarket every 2 days. But this coming week, I'll have to go twice I guess, cos I need to stock up for the Christmas hols. When I come back from Nürnberg, it'll be 23 Dec evening and the shops won't be open for the next 3 days at least..then it's the weekend, so I figure it'd be prudent to stock up on more food during then.

My room doesn't look very festive, so I decided to stick all my Christmas cards in the room to make it look more christmassy. Not that I have a lot of cards. Only have 6. But I'm glad for them. Christmas will be kinda lonely, but I'm saving my VCDs to watch then. So I won't die. Must also study for my test which is straight after new year.

Looking forward to going to Nürnberg already! So much more shopping to do there!

No one's reading my blog...oh who cares...I'll just write anyway.
No internet again over the weekend. We're all pissed at the asshole who brought this upon us. I'm also damn pissed with the Internet people cos they are such rude assholes. Hello, I do NOT like intentionally disturbing people for no reason. But after 5 days without internet access, I was getting pissed, so I had to look for them, as my neighbour suggested. He was going to work, so he couldn't go himself. So went to see the usual guy who helped us, Jan. He looked pissed. Okay, admittedly it's not his consultation hours, so that's my mistake, but I just moved in lor..how to know? Then he sent me to the other guy, Daniel. But since that Daniel guy didn't know anything that was happening, I had to try to explain it...but my German vocab with respect to computers is non-existent...so we both got frustrated at trying to listen to me explain. Then he decided he was obliged to come down and take a look. But he made sure I realised how reluctant he was. He took ages to get his stuff together and he complained very loudly about not being able to find his keys. Then when we got to my floor, he read the note someone put up (we still don't know who) and went around knocking on people's doors, completely ignoring me in the process. So I decided not to be extra and go back to my room. Then I hear Jan's voice. Hmm, so Daniel can disturb him, but I can't. Double standards. Anyway, then Daniel probably realised I was gone and asked where I was. Jan told him my room number and they came to say "Oh, the problem lies probably with XX room and they're not in. Bad luck to you." I was so annoyed that I just said "Ok" instead of saying thanks. Saying thanks for nothing would probably be pushing it. God, how can assholes like them be in charge of helping people set up their internet accounts and solving their problems? I cannot believe it lor. Now I know that there aren't really nice guys...just guys who are better at hiding their true colours than others.
In any case, the asshole who caused the problem with the internet has momentarily decided to not be troublesome...so I have to appreciate every second of it. Probably will have no net again next weekend. What the ****.
