The rantings and uninteresting events of my life

*ouch*...aching all over! Played table tennis for like 6 hours (including some breaks of course) yesterday. The worst thing is that you never notice until you stop to relax..or until the next day. And hello, we're talking about Samantha Sue who doesn't exercise at all. So you can imagine that nearly all the muscles in my legs and back are screaming in pain. Still, perhaps some of you will remember the "Battle of the Born Losers" which Ranj and I had in Wernigerode back in 1999. Yes, I lost. Major table tennis loser. So why did I go? Dunno also. But my new friend was quite nice, even though I was horrible at it at the beginning. But we played until I finally got a rough feel of how it goes, so although I still suck at it, at least we weren't picking balls all the time. Cool. I think at least I'm not as bad as table tennis as I thought. Or maybe he was really really kind. Though I must add, he became really mean towards the end...hitting all those fast balls and to the side and all that. But I suppose it's fair lah. Must upgrade a bit, if not no challenge.

Speaking of friends, the really nice China guy on my floor is moving to Munich tomorrow for 6 months. Gonna do a Praktikum with Infineon. So sad! However, on the bright side, he's selling me his tv set for 50 Euros, so I will finally have a tv. It was a major coincidence. I met him today, just as I was coming back from grocery shopping. That's when he told me he was leaving. Sigh. No more nice people to hang out with on my floor. Though of course, my Vietnamese friends are moving into the room in my unit from 1 July. Anyway, back to the China guy...even though I know him quite well, I never knew his name until today. So paiseh right? Sad lah...people here come and go so fast. He's one of the only 2 people I actually speak Chinese to here, cos with other people, I'm just too embarrassed to open my mouth and speak Chinese. Still, the rest (of the Chinese people) will find out someday that I can actually speak Chinese. Better admit it soon, better than they find out I've been fooling them for so long. Heh.

Arrgh. Exams coming. Next week actually. SO maybe I won't be updating my blog until the week after? But you'd never know. I like blogging when I actually have to do other more important things. ;)
