It's the weekend again! But it's gonna be quite a busy one. We're still filming. We're going to a play and dunno what else today. Tomorrow, there'll be a theatre opening and a reading, or hanging out in a cafe. Then next week..there's stuff too. But the highlights are my fake birthday party...well, advance birthday party...and trips to Würzburg and Ehingen to visit people.
So far, we've filmed at several places. We went to watch an arthouse film...the funny part was...we thought we were gonna be watching a Korean movie..so I asked my Korean friend along. We were the only two there it seemed...but it turns out that the movie started at 8pm, not 7.30! By 8, it was super super crowded..and what's more, people had to bring in chairs from the cafe outside! The worst parts are yet to come. Every second or third person in the cinema suddenly lit up! As in cigarettes. It was so stuffy...and this is the most ironic part: they were showing some German film instead! Aiyoh...but the movie was ok lah..just not what we expected. A bit cheem though..but I could understand the gist lah.
We also went to a poetry slam. That was interesting, but also very very smoky. The poets were mostly lame or you know, those wannabe types. But it wasn't too bad. I found it quite interesting.
Last night was probably the most boring. We went to a benefit concert for the Tsunami victims in Sri Lanka...but the music was really not my type man. It was hardcore rock. But hey, it's always worth trying out new things. You never know when you find something you like.
The two guys in the crew are very funny...they keep checking out the girls here and saying "Hallo, wie geht's?" to them. Sometimes it's embarrassing, but it's hilarious too!
Last night, we finally found another Asian restaurant, other than Hot Wok, which we always go to. The food tastes better too, I think. But I haven't tried everything on the menu, so I can't say for sure.
Ok, think I may go back to sleep for a while...tired lah. Filming quite a while every day. No time to do many other things either.
