Germany lost 1-2 to, get this...the Czech B team. Hello...B TEAM. Oh well, I like Germany and all, but something was obviously wrong with their playing. Kahn really saved them from a more embarrassing defeat! The first save was amazing! That said, however, I must say that Germany was super unlucky. Quite a few of their shots hit the post...or were just right outside. Real pity. But I pity Rudi Voeller most. He could lose his job. He's a nice, interesting coach I think. But somehow it just didn't work. Poor guy. From fame and repute to nobody loser etc etc.

Gonna watch Portugal-England tonight. Last night I slept late and woke up early for class. Had my Singaporean English presentation today. It was a DISASTER! First the projector didn't work. So my powerpoint presentation which I spent days on, had to be trashed. It would've been more interesting with all the photos and all. Then, I forgot to bring my notes. So it was a very ad hoc speech. Not as clear as I would've liked it, but I couldn't remember all that I'd written in my notes. Sigh. Then, my teacher forgot to bring the speakers, so we didn't listen to the sound clips. But she said she'll give us some time next week, so yay! Oh well, it's over. I wish I didn't say "basically" so many times though.

Eeps. Exam time in a week. Haven't even thought about revision. Been watching Euro 2004 like nearly every day!! Some matches, like the Italy vs Bulgaria one last night, were awful...oh, Germany vs. Latvia...now THAT is ONE SUCKY MATCH! Tonight we will watch Germany lose to the Czech Republic. Not that I can predict the future, but with the way Germany is playing and the way the Czechs have been playing, who the winner will be is a forgone conclusion! Then, on the other hand it looks like Holland will beat Latvia..so bye bye Deutsche Mannschaft. I've nothing against them. I actually would like them to at least get into the semis...but just look at their playing! They're playing way too defensive. Sure, Olli Kahn is still great, despite his age and broken down love life, but hello, you don't win matches by blocking your own goal and not trying to score any! The Holland-Czech Rep. match was way more exciting. Lots of offensive play. But I didn't enjoy it much cos of a side issue that occurred during the match. But other than that, it was nice. The England-Croatia one was cool too. I hadn't watched Dario Simic play since what, 1998? He looks very different man. But that's like 6 years ago.
