Funny how I always feel like blogging when I have so much work to do. Haha...just a lame attempt at distraction.

Well, since I haven't been updating the blog in a while, there's actually a lot to say, but I doubt I really have the time. This is really only a Denkpause..then I have to get back to my British Cultural Studies essay. I think my essay's just gonna be trying to reinvent the wheel. I can't think of any new and innovative way of comparing 2 newspapers. I think tabloids are cute though...so much human interest..and so little truth. Well, that's not to say "serious" newspapers aren't full of half-truths or exaggerations either. It's just the tone, really..and the emphasis, of course.

I had loads of fun in Berlin. Went shopping with Ruth..bought 8 tops and a skirt in less than 4 hours! I think I broke my own record. It cost less than 58 Euros in total, so that's about max. SGD 13 for each item. Quite a good buy, considering nothing was on sale. Plus, I actually find sizes that fit me. We also went to Potsdam and stayed at the same youth hostel as the NJC students, who were quite cute, but reminded us that we are getting old. It was good to see Frau Schraudolph again, of course. However, I'm glad we went for our immersion with Frau Boos. There's nothing wrong really, just that Frau Schraudolph's idea of what is fun is different from ours. But she's still a really nice person. Apart from that, Ruth and I met up with Seah Lee, whom we got to know during the SSAG AGM. She's cool. She reminds Ruth and me of Christine.

Okay, well, I have to go now..homework awaits!
